Cpl Armstrong was born on Nov 2, 1994 in Bakersfield CA. Graduating North High School in August 2013.
Cpl Armstrong enlisted into the United States Marine Corps Sep 18, 2016 attending M.C.R.D. San Diego and completing recruit training earning the title of United States Marine Dec 16, 2016. Followed by Marine Combat Training in Camp Pendleton, CA graduating in Feb 2017.
Private Armstrong then Attended 2111 Small Arms Repair/Technician School Feb 2017 where he was promoted to Private First Class on May 1, 2017. Private First Class Armstrong graduated 2111 Small Arms Repair/Technician School Aug 16, 2017.
Private First Class Armstrong arrived at his first duty Station, VMM-166 MCAS Miramar Aug 17, 2017. He was then TAD to MAG-16 HQ MCAS Miramar Aug 19, 2017 where he assumed the role of Armorer at MAG-16 Armory. Private First Class Armstrong was promoted to Lance Corporal Nov 1, 2017.
Lance Corporal Armstrong attended Marine Combat Marksmanship Coaches Course on Dec 4, 2017 earning the additional MOS of 0933 Combat Marksmanship Coach graduating with Class high Academics and Class High Shooter Dec 14, 2017.
Lance Corporal Detached from MAG-16 HQ June 1, 2018 and deployed with VMM-166 on the 13th MEU July 11, 2018 where he assumed the NCO billet of ACE Armory Chief aboard U.S.S. Essex. Lance Corporal Armstrong took charge of over 1,500 items of serialized gear and was essential to the effectiveness of Lance Corporal Armstrong was Promoted to Cpl of Marines atop the U.S.S Essex Feb 2, 2019 location unknown. Returning Mar 1, 2019.
Corporal Armstrong was TAD to MAG-16 HQ soon return form the 13th MEU, where he assumed the role of Armory Chief of MAG-16 Armory.
Corporal Armstrong attended Marine Combat Marksmanship Trainer Course Apr 1, 2019 earning his second additional MOS of 0931 Combat Marksmanship Trainer. Graduating Class High Apr 12, 2019.
Corporal Armstrong received PCA orders to Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron Aug 1, 2019 where he finished out his contract serving as a NCO Armorer billet.
Corporal Armstrong is married to Alexandria L. Armstrong. They have one child, Alice Beau Armstrong.
